My name is Jon Gibbs and I am a landscape photographer from Norfolk.
This website showcases my photographic work of the Norfolk Coast and its incredibly varied environments.Unfortunately Norfolk is a county that is often overlooked photographically, perhaps there is a certain stigma attached to it, that it is a flat and featureless land, I certainly beg to differ.
For me the coast is the gem of Norfolk, as I mentioned above it really is an incredibly varied coastline. If you travel along the length of the coast you will visit sandy beaches, wonderful dune systems, crumbling cliffs (some taller than you may expect), seaside resorts, shingle beaches, saltmarshes, harbour villages, estuaries, barrier islands, nature reserves and mudflats. That is certainly enough to keep me happy!
I have dedicated a whole site to this wonderful area of the UK because it is the place I photograph most often and I have set myself a task to keep visiting and re-visiting the locations. It is my intention to use images that were mostly taken within the last couple of years, I find this is a good way of keeping things fresh for both the visitor to the site and for myself. In this instance you may find some locations do not have many images and some with none at all but please keep coming back to visit and I will do my best to ensure that there are fresh images uploaded to the site as soon as I have processed them.
I hope you enjoy the images.
